Who Is a Coaching Leader?

 

 A Coaching Leader is one who uses a coaching style of leadership, in a way similar to a sports team coach, instead of command and control, to develop and engage the individual, the team, and the organization for outstanding performance.

This workshop is designed to benefit top and middle managers, front line supervisors, first time supervisors, and team leaders.  

Objectives:

  • Gain a good understanding of the essence of leadership.

  • Understand the core of human motivation and apply it to inspire people in the workplace.

  • Develop effective leadership competency that applies the principles that work for sports teams in leading people at work.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve understanding and collaboration.

  • Develop team members to reach their potential.

  • Build and lead a cohesive, effective team that achieves greater results.

  • Manage the work culture in a way that achieves the organization’s vision and goals.

The Coaching Leader utilizes the Ten Dimensional Coaching Leadership Model:

Workshop formats:

A Half a Day Training Workshop

 

Provides participants with understanding of the key issues involved in leadership and an overview of the skills needed for a coaching leadership style. 

 

A Full Day Workshop – or Two Half Day Workshop

 

Provides participants with an understanding of the key issues involved in leadership and a more thorough coverage of the skills needed for developing a coaching leadership style. 

 

Two Day Workshop, Retreat, or Four Half Day Sessions

 

Provide participants with an understanding of the key issues involved in leadership and an opportunity for in-depth discussion, activities, and practices of the skills needed for developing a coaching leadership style.
